A Christmas wreath I made myself .

It is hard to tell there are 6 foot spruce under there!

Casandra loving the snow!

Andrea not sure what to think of the snow.

What would Christmas be without sugar cookies????

Even our dog luvs Christmas morning!

She had to give Casandra a Christmas kiss!

Wade grinning about his new stocking hat!
Uncle David and Casnadra hamming it up!
The kids rocking out on Guitar Hero!
I think they will be busy for a while!

A few Turkey Day Photos

We went to Uncle Tom and Aunt Sheryl's in Florence Montana!

David suprised us by coming up from Utah where he is working for P&H Mine Pro services.

The girls enjoyed there time riding horses AND the golf cart with Annie!

We all had a wonderful time and could not have asked for a better hostess!

All gathered around the table on Thanksgiving . Aunt Sheryl was behind the camera.

Playing board games with Annie!

2 Weeks of Catch Up

I have managed to skip a week of blogging,

So in no particular order here is a bit of what you missed.......

Andrea has been busy in school with all kinds of projects.

Above is her science animal & bacteria cell model.

Tarzan,Julie, Preston & Hannah all came up for a short visit last week.

Hannah has grown so much, I think she knows how cute she is!

Citizen of the Month was awarded to Casandra

For Making Mt. Hall School A Great Place To Be!

November 13th Casandra had her braces removed, her smile is so beautiful!

She will now wear a retainer at night until her permanent teeth are all in.

Ryan and Uncle Dave were also up since my last update.

As you can see the girls were VERY happy to see Ryan after 2 years!

Happy Halloween!

I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!

Wade took the girls out while I stayed home to rest after my oral surgery.

They all had fun, even Wade who never admits it.

Here are a few photos .........

We also enjoyed an earlier Halloween at a friends party. Wade & I dressed up as graduates in full cap and gown ,Andrea was in her witch/vampire attire while Casandra was Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz. Then for her school party Casandra was a dancer off of Dancing with the Stars. Unfortunately these are all the photos I have this year.

Now it's on to Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years!

Sorry no pictures this week again.

Hi everyone!

I am sorry I didn't get pictures posted last week, and it looks like today will be a repeat of that. As some of you may know I have been having issues with a back molar. Toothaches seem to zap the energy right out of you.

Today I went in to TRY to have my dentist pull it even though he warned me multiple times he wasn't sure if he could get it out or not. Unfortunately after 2 hours he was unsuccessful and I now have to go to an oral surgeon. He tried his best, even sectioned the tooth in half and it still wouldn't budge. The tops broke off but the roots stayed. Tomorrow I go in to Coeur d Alene to have a consult/ preop then Friday (Halloween morning) for my surgery.

I am pretty sure my numbing is going to wear off so I am going to try to get some rest while I can!

I promise I will post pictures of Halloween next week.

Brrrrr

Brrr it is cold outside! This morning was our first real county wide frost, it is a reminder winter is around the corner. As for the fall hunt we have my deer and Wade's elk in the freezer, we cut and wrapped it our self to save a little money. Bear season is open until October 31st , elk season will end on Friday and deer season runs until December 1st.

Progress reports came out last week and the girls both seem to be off to a good start on the school year. Thursday Andrea will attend her first dance, I think she is pretty excited.

I will add more photos to this post this afternoon...........

Fall Hunt

The Fall Hunt Thus Far

Opening morning brought sucess for Wade with this tasty spike, harvested with his trusted .280! And YES he was able to retrieve it with our new tractor!

Great minds think alike!

Wade's close friend Joe had the same sucess in an area near by.

Once Wade had his elk out of the way I decided to give it a try. We hiked and hiked but never did see hide nor hair of the elk. As luck would have it this 4x5 whitetail buck made the mistake of showing itself!

Not a hunting photo but just wanted to share this photo of the girls with Grandma Great!
